Supporting evidence

The IDEA toolkit was developed within the Inclusive Design Group at the University of Cambridge by Dr. Matteo Zallio with funding from European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 846284.

In-depth qualitative and quantitative research was performed by studying standards and regulations, analysing scientific literature, interviewing experts, running surveys and co-designing with professionals.

The knowledge developed with this research, along with the Inclusive Design Canvas and the IDEA audit, helps professionals and businesses to think and act more inclusively by raising the bar of accessibility and inclusion.
